About
Swallow Rehab
Meet Amanda
Principle Clinician, Amanda, has been a certified practising speech pathologist since 2014 and has worked in all clinical areas from intensive care through to community and with paediatrics through to adults.

She has a strong passion for research and has been the lead author for a paper published in the Aphasiology Journal. She commenced her PhD studies in 2021 looking at ways to support the inclusion of people with aphasia.

Supporting people to communicate with confidence is a life passion spanning over two decades. Working within the performing arts industry Amanda has worked with many to boost their confidence on and off the stage. It then seemed a natural transition to become a speech pathologist where she could dive deeper into communication and swallowing difficulties.
